Wellbeing & Mental Health during the Coronavirus Outbreak

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is currently impacting people throughout the world, and it is important that, during this time, you take care of your mental health, as well as your physical health.

The effects of COVID-19 are affecting everyone differently, and everyone will be reacting in their own way. Some people may feel frustrated or lonely. Whilst others will be concerned about their finances, health or relatives. This could lead to people feeling down, worried or anxious.

However, it is important to remember that it is ok to feel like this. These feelings are very normal reactions to both uncertainty and challenging events.

COVID-19 has also impacted on many of the normal coping strategies we use to deal with stress, and, also, the ways in which we manage and look after our emotional wellbeing. During this time, we may need to be more creative and thoughtful about how we look after ourselves.

Every Life Matters has created a guide on how to look after yourself, and others, during this time. The guide contains practical information about things you can do to look after your mental health and wellbeing and, also, how you can support others.
