Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is helping noise related Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) by trialling a new, pioneering app.
The introduction of The Noise App will provide CCHA’s residents with a swift, easy to use platform, to identify and report ASB, in real time.
The launch of the app coincides with ASB Week, which is taking place from 19th – 25th July 2021, and is part of CCHA’s wider commitment to explore how new technologies can help improve its core services, one of which is tackling ASB, within its communities.
Speaking about the launch, Anna Bates, Head of Housing, said: “We believe everybody has a right to peaceful enjoyment their home, which is why we’ve made an ongoing commitment to work with the communities we serve, to tackle ASB and neighbour nuisance.
“The Noise App will not only help us speed up the process of reporting and acting on noise nuisance, but it will also help residents create personal diaries and significantly improve the resident journey, as residents will receive in-app notifications, to update them on the progress of cases, as well as creating a direct line of contact with the relevant CCHA team.”
“The Noise App is free to download and is compatible with all Android and iOS devices. It is also delivered through a secure and encrypted infrastructure, to ensure that personal data is kept confidential.”
Anna added: “Embracing digital transformation and adopting new technologies, such as The Noise App, is key to helping us make continual improvements to the services we provide to our residents, and we’re delighted to be teaming up with the developers of the app for this new initiative.”
