New website service makes it even easier to get in touch

A new webchat function on Castles & Coasts Housing Association’s (CCHA’s) website has made it even easier to get in touch with the organisation.

Adam Gould, CCHA’s Head of Customer Service and Engagement, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for residents to get in touch with us and this new innovation gives people even more options to choose from.

“This is especially important at the moment because we know a lot of people are really struggling with the cost of living, and not everyone wants to discuss their concerns over the phone or in person. By introducing the webchat function, we hope to open up dialogue with more customers to offer them the support they need, and signpost them to other agencies that can also help where needed, in a way that suits them.”

The webchat function is easy to access from this website by clicking onto the ‘Contact’ page. The ‘Chat now!’ button connects the resident with a member of the Customer Service Team to help with any queries.

The new webchat has been introduced in addition to being able to:

  • telephone the Customer Service Team on 0800 085 1171
  • visit the Carlisle and Workington offices in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm
  • email the team on cs@castlesandcoasts.co.uk
  • fill in the ‘Get in touch’ information on the website
  • send direct messages from the organisations Facebook page
  • make contact through the online Resident’s Portal
  • use the ‘request a callback’ function for a member of the team to call back as soon as they can during office hours, from Monday to Friday.

Adam Gould continued: “If any resident is concerned about paying their rent or has any other financial worries, we don’t want them to worry in isolation. We urge them to contact us using one of these methods.”
