Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) are delighted to publish our latest Annual Report for Residents. The report gives an overview of our achievements and performance for the financial year.

Just some of the highlights and key statistics for this year include:

• Helping 267 residents gain £830,000 in additional benefits
• Bringing 83 new homes to our region for affordable rent and Shared Ownership
• Welcoming hundreds of new residents to CCHA with 519 new tenancies starting in our ‘general needs’ homes, 87 in our independent living schemes and 15 new customers through Shared Ownership
• Completing 22,484 repairs and 202 aids and adaptations
• Achieving 100% compliance for valid gas certificates and fire risk assessments
• Resident satisfaction staying above 90%
• The launch of our new five-year Corporate Strategy

Stephanie Murphy, our Chief Executive, said: “We strive to be an excellent housing provider and in this report, we’re able to show how committed we are to listening to all of the feedback we receive from residents and then acting on it to improve the services we deliver.

Simon Roberson, Chair of Board at CCHA, said: “Board Members have taken part in some direct engagement activities with residents this year so that we can hear feedback first-hand, and we’re committed to carrying on with this in the future.

“In this report, you will see that we have appointed two new Board Champions, one to help ensure CCHA meet their equality, diversity and inclusion commitments and another to make sure CCHA’s complaints service is robust and working well for residents.
