We hope you’re able to enjoy spending much-needed time with your family and friends over the festive period. Thank you for your patience and understanding, as there are still shortages of parts and materials and some repairs take a little longer to complete.
Our offices will be closed from 12noon on Tuesday 24th December 2024 and will re-open at 9am on Thursday 2nd January 2025. However, our emergency out of hours service will continue during this period.

If you're a Castles & Coasts’ tenant, please don’t worry if you have an emergency repair over the Christmas period. You can still call us even while our offices are closed if it’s an emergency, on 0800 085 1171. Our normal repair services will resume on 2nd January.

Tips and advice over winter
Damp and mould
If there isn’t enough ventilation in your home, condensation can leave pools of water that encourage the growth of mould. You’ll need to tackle condensation or mould if it’s become a problem. These everyday tips should help prevent them becoming an issue in your home.
Paying your rent over Christmas
We know Christmas can be a difficult time of year financially, but please don’t struggle alone. We can offer you our support this winter so you can carry on paying your rent to avoid getting into debt. Our dedicated Income Team and Financial Inclusion service can support you to make sure you cover the costs of your essentials without missing payments on other priority bills.

Independent living residents - keeping in touch over Christmas
Over the festive period, colleagues will still be making some morning wellbeing calls to our independent living residents, and we hope that your family and friends will be keeping in touch with you too.
Don’t forget that you can also use the emergency call system, recently upgraded in your home, if you need urgent help any time of the day or night.
