At CCHA, we're committed to providing support and money guidance to our residents.

Our Financial Inclusion service aims to help you resolve any issues you're having with your rent payments and sustain your tenancy.

We can help you with:

  • Benefits checks - are you claiming everything you’re entitled to?
  • Changes to your income – are you changing jobs, expecting to claim your pension, or have you been asked to move onto Universal Credit? We can support you through any changes to make sure they go smoothly.
  • Budgeting advice – We can help you manage and prioritise your finances effectively.
  • Support with essentials – We can help you through times of hardship with access to food banks and support for other essentials.

Money Advice

The organisations below can provide you with advice and guidance on money matters.

Details regarding benefits, pensions, taxation and many more subjects.

DWP

Credit Unions are financial co-operatives which provide savings accounts and loans, and sometimes other services, to their members.

Citizens Advice provide advice online, by phone or in person on a range of issues including:

  • benefits
  • work
  • debt and money
  • consumer
  • family
  • housing
  • law and courts
  • immigration
  • health

They also work in partnership with Pension Wise, the Money Advice Service and Cancer Support.

MoneyHelper brings together three 'legacy' websites of the Money Advice Service, Pension Wise and The Pensions Advisory Service and is there to help make money and pension choices clearer. The site has a wealth of advice on a range of money and pension topics. It also includes tools and calculators to help you quickly work out the figures you need for some of the most common money situations people find themselves in.

Quids in! aims to helps low income households become better off. They share all the latest money news that affects people on low incomes. Their magazine has a Readers Club that you can sign up to.
