Castles & Coasts Development Team shortlisted for prestigious award

Castles and Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is delighted to announce that its Development Team have been shortlisted in the ‘Best development team’ category of the prestigious Inside Housing Development Awards 2024. 

The awards celebrate the very best residential developments across the UK over the past year. In challenging times the sector has proved its resilience; striving towards more sustainable solutions and projects that put the needs of the communities they serve first. The awards recognise teams, schemes and solutions that have made a positive impact in these exceptional times. 

CCHA’s Development Team significantly boosted construction across northern England, with new build completions surging from four homes in 2020 to an impressive 168 in 2023-24.  

David Brown, Head of Development at CCHA, said: “I’m hugely proud of our tight-knit team. For such a small team to be shortlisted for a national award is testament to their hard work and shared commitment to making a difference. Our team is committed to excellence, innovation, and working in partnership to deliver new homes for the communities we serve.”  

The winners will be announced at a celebration event in London on 27^th September.
