Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) has published its third Gender Pay Gap Report (GPGR).
Any employer with over 250 staff on a given ‘snapshot date’ has to submit and publish their gender pay gap data within one year of that date - it’s a legal requirement. CCHA’s snapshot date was 5 April 2025, when the organisation had 293 employees, so the report had to be published by 4 April 2026.
Gender pay gap is an equality measure showing the difference in average earnings between women and men within an organisation.
It’s not the same as equal pay, which is any difference in pay for men and women doing the same or equivalent work. It’s unlawful to pay people unequally because of their gender.
CCHA’s Head of People, Clive Liggett, said: “We aim to help make sure colleagues achieve their full potential and contribute to our success regardless of their gender, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive and supportive culture and working environment to support this.
“This year, we surveyed colleagues and anonymous feedback showed very positive results on equal opportunities and inclusivity, reflecting the impact of our work, and our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and action plan continue to guide our approach.”
