We're committed to listening to residents and acting on what we hear. This section shows how feedback has influenced decisions, services and improvements across Castles & Coasts.

Repairs Policy Co-production

The Residents' Scrutiny Panel worked directly with colleagues to help develop our Repairs Policy. Residents reviewed proposed changes, made recommendations and helped ensure resident perspectives were reflected in the final policy.

Empty Homes Review

The Residents' Scrutiny Panel carried out an in-depth review of our empty homes process and made recommendations covering resident communication, policy improvements, support for residents and service performance. These recommendations were accepted and are being tracked through our governance arrangements.

Residents' Charter Reviews

Our Residents' Scrutiny Panel independently reviews how we're performing against the commitments set out in our Residents' Charter. Reviews have helped provide assurance that commitments are being delivered and identified opportunities for future improvements.

Improvements Made Following Resident Feedback

Feedback from residents helps us identify opportunities to improve services, policies and communications. Through surveys, consultations, the Resident Feedback Group and scrutiny activities, residents help shape decisions and influence future service improvements.
