Board

The Housing Ombudsman
The Housing Ombudsman Service is a free, independent organisation that investigates and makes final decisions on unresolved disputes between social housing residents and their landlords.
We're committed to using any complaints we receive from residents as an opportunity to put things right where we have got them wrong, and to learn and improve our services for residents.

Residents’ Scrutiny Panel
Our Residents’ Scrutiny Panel are residents who work on behalf of all Castles & Coasts' residents. They carry out a deep-dive reviews into our services and present findings and recommendations to our Audit & Risk Committee.
Any actions are overseen by Audit & Risk Committee until they are completed.

Internal Auditors
RSM are our internal auditors. They independently evaluate our operations, risk management and internal controls.
They carry out audits based on an annual programme agreed by our Audit & Risk Committee, which is a sub-committee of our Board.
Findings and any actions required following an audit are reported to our Audit & Risk Committee, and any actions are overseen by the committee until they are completed.
