Our new STAIRs information hub is now available on the Castles & Coasts website.

STAIRs stands for Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements and is designed to make it easier for residents to access information about how their housing provider manages homes, delivers services and makes decisions.

Our new hub brings together information that was previously available across different parts of our website and documents, making it easier to find and understand.

What information can I find?

The STAIRs hub includes information about:

  • How Castles & Coasts is run and how decisions are made
  • How we're performing
  • How we spend our money
  • How we manage and invest in homes
  • Policies and strategies

You'll also find information about resident involvement, performance measures, investment programmes, governance arrangements, complaints handling and much more.

Why have we created it?

We want residents to be able to easily access information about the services they receive and understand how decisions are made.

The STAIRs hub helps us to:

  • Increase transparency
  • Make information easier to find
  • Explain key reports and documents in plain English
  • Show how resident feedback influences decisions and improvements
  • Make it easier for residents to hold us to account

We want your feedback

This is just the start of our STAIRs journey.

We'll continue to review and improve the information available, and we'd like residents to tell us what they think. If there is information you can't find, something that isn't clear, or a way we can improve the hub, we'd like to hear from you. Please contact us with your feedback.
