Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is proud to stand with organisations across the UK in support of ASB Awareness Week 2026, a national campaign running from 29 June to 5 July 2026, which shines a spotlight on the impact of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and promotes safer communities. 

Castles & Coasts Housing Association has been recognised at the prestigious Northern Housing Awards, with its Flood Response Team receiving a ‘Highly Commended’ accolade in the Housing team of the year category. 

We have been made aware of scammers operating in some of our communities claiming to be from the “Social Housing Standards Agency” and asking residents if they can enter their homes to take damp or mould readings. Please be aware: this is a scam.

Over this financial year (1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027) Castles & Coasts Housing Association’s (CCHA’s) planned investment programme is set to improve the quality of hundreds of its homes across Cumbria and the North East. 

Any employer with over 250 staff on a given ‘snapshot date’ has to submit and publish their gender pay gap data within one year of that date - it’s a legal requirement. CCHA’s snapshot date was 5 April 2025, when the organisation had 293 employees, so has to publish the report by April 2026.

Following a rigorous recruitment process, Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) have appointed Marie Hardeman as Executive Director of Customers and Communities.
